My hoya loves its arch and currently has about 40 flowers! I couldn’t get a shot that fit them all in but this was a good angle.

For the first time ever, I bought some standard roses. They are starting to flower beautifully and smell as gorgeous as they look.

Sun sets through the trees.

Father-in-law has a new work buddy. Isn’t Matilda gorgeous?

Recently (late September) in Brisbane we encountered two dust storms. For the first one my daughter and I were at the airport. This is looking out onto the runway, usually you can see waaaaay across the runway to trees and some hangers.

Finally the flight we were waiting for was able to land after circling for 40mins waiting for the dust to clear. We couldn’t see it until it got very close, kudos to the pilot for finding the ground safely!

A few days later we were in Warwick, Queensland when another dust storm hit. Here is a before and after from my in-laws front verandah – they are not taken on the same day, the before shot is a about 7mths earlier.

Sitting… waiting… splashing… laughing in delight

Hiding, waiting to peek out as the sand is washed away.

Water gently glides out to sea, swishing around a smooth glossy rock.

We went to the Sunshine Coast for the weekend. The weather was perfect and the beach looking gorgeous.
